    Hi everyone,

    Im new to the forum and to Open Exhibits. So bare with me if my questions have been discussed before.

    Im trying implement transparent LCD panels with Open Exhibit. I haven’t purchased it yet but we are in the process choosing the vendors; possibly Samsung or LG. Has been there any successful projects where SDK been implemented with these panel?

    I have friends who have used Windows Touch pack to design the interface for the transparent panels, but I haven’t seen information about Open Exhibit supporting it. It should theoretically support it, correct?

    Any thoughts will be helpful.

    For any computer hardware you need to check if Flash/AIR is supported. For touch interfaces you need to see if Windows native touch is supported or if TUIO is supported. Open Exhibits supports Windows native touch and will very soon support TUIO. Can you send a link to the LCD devices in which you speak?

    For the hardware, we are running a PC with Windows 7. On the TUIO website (http://www.tuio.org/?software) it states OE is supported? is this only for v.2? Do you also have a list of transparents LCD or OLED devices it does support?

    No one has tested these LCDs with Open Exhibits as far as I know. If you can get TUIO data from it then it will work.

    That was probably written on TUIO.org for Open Exhibit v1.0. It was not fully supported when v2.0 was released, but we are planning to release an update this week with TUIO support.

    Does OE support it? If not are there any multitouch transparent film that supports OE?
