Kinect-enabled Gigapixel Viewer

This exhibit is an independent installation that contains all the files necessary to display a gigapixel image and interact with it using the Microsoft Kinect.

Debug viewing is on, so users can see how they are interacting with the screen. Users can use one interaction point to drag and pan, and two to pinch and zoom.

Gigapixel images are included in the “library/assets/deepzoom” folder, and images can be switched out through its corresponding XML filename in the CML, or you can add your own. For more information on how to create your own gigapixel images, please consult the “README” file.

For more information, please consult the “README” file.

Included in the installation package is the: /download/tuio-kinect-complete/ which will need to be installed to run this module fully. For more information, please consult the “README” file.

If have questions about this software, check the Open Exhibits Software Support Forum to submit inquiries to, and find answers from OE community members.
